So this product contains nano particles of silica and protein. I believe there is a need to know that there are many materials out there that are made into nano particles and are used in cosmetics. Perhaps different materials has different effects to health, positive or negative. L'Oreal used the nanotechnology on their cosmetics. Revlon has nano particles in theirs, so has Estee Lauder's. Bandages has nano particles, so are sunscreens, socks, toothpastes, baby bottles, pillows, towels, and batteries. Research hasn't been conducted yet, so we can't be so sure that everything nano-sized will kill us.
CAUTION!!! Nanoparticles September 21, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I read the previous review and made my own research. I want to share the result, because it is scary. "Nanoparticles present possible dangers, both medically and environmentally[citation needed]. Most of these are due to the high surface to volume ratio, which can make the particles very reactive or catalytic[citation needed]. They may also be able to pass through cell walls in organisms, and their interactions with the body are relatively unknown[citation needed]." If my skin-care products contain nanoparticles, I don't want to use them. You make your own decision.
Have used for over a year. August 5, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wanted it to help my problem with puffy eyes and there are products which have helped but not this one. It's a nice moisturizer..a quality one in fact as it doesn't irritate my eyes at all like cheaper ones and does keep them feeling soft. But I don't find it doing anything else with lines, puffiness... anything. A tad expensive for a moisturizer I'm afraid.
Love it! March 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use Renergie Microlift Active Redefining Treatment as a preconditioner prior to the placement of foundation on my face. I cannot imagine using anything else. I find it challenging to find a product that allows my foundation to go on silky smooth yet without feeling greasy or causing blemishes. I am in my fourties and this is the best product I have found.
Nanoparticles have not yet been found to be safe! January 26, 2007 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
NANOPARTICLES???? I was in the process of re-ordering this item until I read the description. Apparently you're using the public to ascertan whether or not these nanoparticles are safe. Thanks a lot, Lancome! Not on MY face!
